  • Maybe! Send an email to our booker, Nick McKinlay. Be sure to give him as much information as possible, including links to your music, potential dates, and venues you’ve played in the past. Nick receives a large number of requests, but he will be sure to reach out if he’s interested in booking your band!

  • No way! The majority of our space is standing room - we leave lots of space for walk-ins. Most people mingle at the bar while they watch the band or dance the night away!

  • Very rarely do we take reservations. We always keep lots of space for walk-ins so feel free to come on by without a reservation! For weekday reservations, earlier time slots, or to book a private event, feel free to reach out. We don’t take reservations for groups smaller than 8ppl.

  • No, we don’t offer guest list. Live music starts around 9PM on Fridays & Saturdays, with a DJ starting later on in the night around 10:30/11PM or sometimes in between sets. The earlier you come the better to avoid a lineup!

  • Sometimes, but not always! Our calendar has up-to-date information on what to expect each night, and weekly listings are always pinned to the top of our Instagram profile!

    Some examples of nights we do charge cover…

    • On Tuesdays for swing dancing with Hot Hot Jazz! The band charges cover at the door.

    • On Dina’s 10 Dollar Bill nights, where there are 2 to 3 bands playing. Cover goes directly to the musicians.

    • Other shows where the band has decided to charge cover - for example, if they’re releasing a single, EP, or album. Again, cover goes directly to the musicians.

    • Special events like Halloween or NYE.

    • On some weekends. Make sure to check our website calendar or Instagram profile for details!

  • Yes! Keep in mind we try not to host private events on weekends as Fridays and Saturdays are our busiest nights; however, feel free to send us email. Let us know what kind of party you’re looking to throw! We’re happy to provide a quote. Make sure to include how many guests you expect to attend, as well as potential dates and times.

    If we don’t have availability at Dina’s, we may have availability at one of our sister venues, Track & Field, Hail Mary, or Bangarang.

  • Yes, in the colder months we offer coat check on weekends. Coat check is first come first served and costs $3!

  • Every now and then we may host an all ages show, but generally, yes, we are a 19+ venue. Please have your ID handy!

  • We do offer small salty bar snacks, but you’re welcome to bring or order in whatever you’d like. You can have a pizza delivered right to the bar! Birthday cake is great, but we don’t have cutlery or plates - make sure you bring everything you need for optimal cake enjoyment, or choose something a little easier, like cupcakes!
